Dolls are the epitome of idealised femininity: always beautiful, always perfect, with no margin for imperfection or autonomy. This project questions how these expectations of perfection extend to real women, placing us under constant scrutiny that dehumanises us and reduces us to objects of contemplation.
Every knot and every facial tension represents the social standards, gender stereotypes, and cultural pressures that dictate how we should behave, dress, and even think.
